Job Summary
Paramedic (PARAM) — Located in Marinette, WI, this role involves providing emergency medical services at a Level III Trauma Center with 99 beds. The position requires supporting the emergency department with general emergency skills, offering critical patient care from neonates to geriatrics, and managing level III trauma cases within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Certifications and Requirements: WI license in the application process, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH certifications, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Patient Care: Support on the unit includes working in a CDC compliant environment, drawing blood, and assisting with bedside and nurse station telemonitoring.
- Support Staff & Equipment: Support from a CNA (1:17), charge nurse, hospitalist (24/7), RT (24/7), and charting through EPIC electronic health records.
- Orientation & Additional Info: Orientation includes at least one shift on the unit, with every other weekend rotation. No on-call expectations are required.
- Note: The facility is very rural, with an on-site ambulance service.
