Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist (IRT or CVT) is needed for an Electrophysiology (EP) Laboratory in Schenectady, New York. This position involves assisting cardiologists with electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker and/or AICD implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and EP studies or ablations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Specialty: Electrophysiology
- Location: Schenectady, NY
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per day, days shift, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with schedule varying between Monday through Friday. No call or weekend requirements.
- Schedule: 10 hours shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification, educational background, or license as a Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist; 0 years of minimum experience (see note below), located in the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in electrophysiology procedures, specifically pacemaker or AICD implants, generator changes, lead revisions, EP studies, or ablations.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Orientation is held every Monday. Under minimal supervision, the Rad Tech/CVT will scrub utilizing sterile technique and assist cardiologists during electrophysiology procedures.
