Job Summary:
Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technician position available in a healthcare facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves supporting a busy electrophysiology laboratory, with responsibilities centered around assisting with procedures such as ablations, PPM, PCD, and LAAC. The position is suitable for candidates with experience in EP procedures and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Nurse (RN); current RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification; 1 year of relevant experience; location in or willingness to work in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing and mapping experience in EP procedures.
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
- Additional Information: The unit features two electrophysiology labs with approximately 5-9 cases daily, classified as a busy procedural environment. Staff includes day shift registered nurses and technicians, with no night shift coverage. The facility maintains a professional dress code with navy scrub attire provided, and policies will be provided upon request.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
