Job Summary:
The position is for an Electrophysiology (EP) Technician in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The role involves supporting complex cardiovascular procedures including PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP, and various electrophysiology interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hours: 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); valid licensure; cath lab experience; skills in PCI, PFO, Impella, IABP, IFR, FFR; experience with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems; zero years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with structural heart procedures and implants; familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM).
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the department.
- Additional Information: The role entails self-scheduling and involves experienced staff supporting the unit's advanced technology and procedures.
