Job Summary
Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer — Ultrasonographer Echo Pediatrics — Denver, CO. This position involves performing advanced echocardiographic imaging and assessments on pediatric patients within a large academic medical center. The role requires collaborative participation in clinical procedures, including imaging of complex congenital heart conditions and surgically repaired defects, across multiple system-of-care locations.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Perform pediatric echocardiography at a prominent academic medical center, supporting diagnostics and patient care for pediatric cardiac patients.
  • Required Qualifications: Completion of a cardiac sonographer program; ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS certification; minimum 2 years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience; recent experience in a large pediatric academic medical center; experience scanning complex congenital heart disease and surgically repaired congenital heart defects; reliable vehicle for travel between care locations; experience completing full measurements and writing comprehensive reports; experience with GE and Philips ultrasound machines.
  • Schedule: 8-hour days, with shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, and minimum weekly hours of 40. Few days may involve variable start times, and weekend shifts may be required. Weeknight on-call coverage from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with option for 4x10-hour workweeks during approved time off.
  • Additional Information: The primary work location is the main campus, with potential coverage across other system locations including North, South, Uptown, and Wheatridge campuses. May be asked to float within thirty-five miles to fulfill scheduled hours and provide coverage as needed.
  • Certifications: ARDMS PE or CCI RCCS.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Syngo Dynamics reporting system.
  • Submission Requirements: Qualified candidates must include the completed exemption request form for medical or religious influenza vaccination exemptions.
