Job Summary:
Dietitian in a healthcare setting located in a clinical environment. This role involves providing high-quality nutritional care to patients through development, implementation, and monitoring of Medical Nutrition Therapy. The position is focused on collaborative patient care, education, and supporting the interdisciplinary team to meet nutritional goals.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with major studies in Food and Nutrition related field; current state licensure/certification, if required by state; current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration; one (1) year of work experience in a facility setting with clinical responsibilities or equivalent.

- Additional Information: Perform nutrition assessments and re-assessments, identify nutrition goals and interventions, and monitor patient progress. Develop and monitor enteral and/or parenteral nutrition support regimens in collaboration with pharmacy and medical staff. Collaborate with Speech Therapy for diet progression and transitional feeding. Ensure consistency with facility nutrition support formulary and diet manual. Consider religious, cultural, and ethnic factors in nutrition care plans, evaluate food/drug and herb/supplement interactions, and provide patient and staff education. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, departmental performance improvement programs, and serve as a resource for food service staff ensuring compliance with care plans. Maintain professional registration requirements and stay current with nutritional practices and theories.
