Job Summary:
The Long Term Care registered dietitian is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services in a healthcare facility. The position involves a six-month commitment with the potential for permanent employment, primarily working days with a typical schedule of 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. The dietitian will also provide support to the hospital and other outpatient areas as needed.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Dietitian with at least 1 year of clinical experience. A Masters Degree is preferred.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts during daytime hours, with a minimum of 40 hours weekly. The shifts may be from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Duration: Start date on 09/14/2026, with an end date on 03/14/2027.
- Certifications/Education: Must be a registered dietitian.
- Additional Information: The primary function is to deliver nutritional care to residents in long-term care, assisted living, and hospital patients. The dietitian will float to support vacation coverage at the healthcare facility. A working knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements is essential.
