Job Summary:
Dietitian, Pediatric Clinical Nutrition — for a clinical dietitian specialist position at an academic medical campus. The role involves providing pediatric and infant clinical nutrition services, including experience with enteral nutrition, renal, DHI, and complex pediatric patients. The assignment duration is six months, with scheduled dayshift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Job Details:
- Location: Clinical dietitian specialist position at an academic medical campus.
- Schedule: 8-hour days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, registered dietitian licensure/certification, minimum of 2 years of experience, experience in pediatric and infant clinical nutrition, experience with enteral nutrition, experience with DHI (Dietary History Interview), renal, and complex pediatric patients.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, certification as Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), and Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition (CSP). Experience with malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, feeding challenges, and parenteral nutrition are also preferred.
- Float: No float required.
- On Call and Weekend Requirements: No on-call duties; variable weekend coverage approximately twice every 6–8 weeks.
- Additional Information: No RTO (reason to leave) restrictions during the first two weeks of assignment. Seasonal influenza vaccination is required; exemptions for medical or religious reasons are accepted.
