CT Technologist (CT) — Wausau, Wisconsin
The CT Technologist provides diagnostic imaging support within a healthcare setting, operating computed tomography equipment and assisting with patient care workflows. The role includes varied start times and weekend/holiday coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, varied start times 06:15 AM–12:30 PM, varied 5–8’s and 4–10’s; 8 shift hours; minimum 40 hours per week.
- Schedule & Coverage: Every 4th weekend; possible holidays. Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate; ARRT (Computed Tomography) (ARRT CT); Wisconsin State license; Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certification; minimum 0 years of CT experience (as stated); charting experience (Epic preferred); General Electric (GE) and Siemens scanner experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; Epic experience.
- Additional Information: Travelers are eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. On-call hours placed during low census will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. If called back to the facility, call back pay may apply; call back minimum is 2 hours. During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccinations will be required to wear a mask at all times, with no exceptions; failure to adhere may result in corrective action.
- Submission Requirements: Required certifications to be attached upon submittal: ARRT CT; Wisconsin State license; Basic Life Support (BLS) (with American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certification).
