Job Summary:
This Radiologic Technologist position is located in Sonora, California. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment and performing various radiologic procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The successful candidate will assist in achieving departmental objectives, maintain high standards of patient care, and work collaboratively within the medical imaging team.
Job Details:
- Position: CT Technologist
- Location: Sonora, California
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per organization policy, Radiologic Technician (RT) license in the state of practice, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), current certification in at least one other advanced modality such as Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Sonography (S), or Positron Emission Tomography (PET).
- Additional Information: Performs radiographic, computed tomography, and ultrasound examinations competently in at least three modalities, safely transports and transfers patients, tests defibrillators and crash carts, prepares contrast agents, and performs mobile imaging procedures as needed. All associates must complete required vaccinations annually where applicable, in accordance with organizational policies.
