Job Summary
The CT Technologist position in the CT Specialty is located at a healthcare organization. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) examinations, including CTA work and stroke protocols, with responsibilities such as administering contrast agents and reviewing images for accuracy. The position requires working evenings on a 4x10-hour shift schedule.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evenings, 4x10-hour shifts, 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), valid certification(s) in current registration, and at least 2 years of experience in CT imaging.
- Additional Information:
- Possess a working knowledge of CT examinations, CTA work, stroke protocols, and procedures involving contrast agents.
- Ability to work independently with minimal clinical supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Experience with computer usage and sterile techniques.
- Reviews images for technical accuracy before sending images to PACs for interpretation.
- Practices safety and confidentiality.
- EMR system utilized is Cerner.
- Scrub color: Black, gray, or white.
