Job Summary
CT Technologist, located in the healthcare organization’s environment, is responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures with a high level of proficiency. This position involves operating GE CT scanners, administering contrast as needed, and ensuring patient safety while delivering excellent customer service during scheduled night shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications and Education: ARRT (CT) certification, Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography, and one year of CT experience preferred but not required.
- Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, totaling 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Proficiency in CT scanning, IV and oral/GI contrast administration, capability to respond effectively in emergency situations, EMR documentation skills using Epic and Visage systems.
- Preferred Qualifications: GE CT scanner experience.
- Additional Information: Under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead, the technologist performs high-level diagnostic procedures, ensuring safety and optimal patient care.
