Job Summary:
An experienced CT Technologist is sought to work at a facility in Rockford, Illinois. This position involves performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) procedures, as well as radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role offers the flexibility to work evenings with a scheduled shift time and minimum hours per week as specified.

- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography program; Education Verification required; ARRT Radiography registration; ARRT Computed Tomography registration; IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation; Approved CPR or BLS certification; 0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years of CT experience; Level I Trauma experience; proficiency with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment; experience with EMRs including Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Allscripts; familiarity with contrast media such as Optiray 350, Isovue 300, and Omnipaque 350; experience with fluoroscopic procedures.
- Additional Information: Performs diagnostic CT procedures and other radiographic exams; prepares patients and selects appropriate imaging equipment; practices aseptic technique; administers contrast media and manages intravenous access; initiates basic life support actions; provides patient education; maintains inventory; and provides practical instruction for students and colleagues. Observes all safety and patient protocols during procedures.
