Job Summary
CT Technologist - Radiology, Location: unspecified. This position involves producing high-quality imaging that meets established standards within the radiology department. It requires competence in various imaging equipment and technology, along with a commitment to patient safety and effective team communication. The role offers flexibility to staff multiple locations, work varied hours, and respond to on-call demands, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Job Details
- Produces high-quality images that meet the standards established by the radiology department.
- Requires competence in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
- Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients.
- Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
- Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths.
- Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 13-week assignment.
- Required Skills & Experience: Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
- Required Certifications & Licensure: ARRT certified in Radiography. Appropriate state licensure (if required by the state). BLS certification.
- Preferred Certifications & Licensure: ARRT (CT) preferred.
- Additional Skills: Efficiency, multitasking, independent work, interpersonal skills, effective communication.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be ARRT (CT) certified and hold BLS certification.
