Job Summary:
CT Technologist position available in a busy, high-acuity freestanding emergency room located in Swift Creek, Virginia. This role involves independently covering both CT and X-ray modalities in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent patient care while utilizing advanced imaging equipment. The assignment offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to high patient satisfaction and quality care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia license or Compact license, ARRT certification, ARRT-CT certification, CPR certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. Ability to work independently covering both CT and X-ray modalities, with professional, friendly communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to handle moderate pediatric volume; Acute Stroke Ready certification.
- Additional Information: The unit features a 12-bed freestanding emergency room with a GE Optima CT scanner, GE portable x-ray, Meditech documentation system, and Sectra scheduling.
