Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) located in Portland, Oregon. This position involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures, including 3D rendering techniques, with a focus on abdominal, cervical, chest, head, and vascular imaging. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The shift schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT, ARRT (Radiation Biology and Health Physics), Basic Life Support (BLS); Oregon state licensure (pending or active); 1 year of CT experience; work location in Portland, Oregon
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred), proficiency in 3D rendering and advanced imaging techniques such as maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
  • Float: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for this assignment. The facility may supply communication devices at no cost, or reimbursement may be provided for mobile phone use up to $50/month if not supplied. Candidates will be responsible for 2 references covering 1 year (6 months if CNA) within the past 3 years, during the compliance process and prior to start. Vaccinations include COVID-19 (not required) and Flu (vaccination status unknown). Travelers should have completed required clinical skills, including administration of contrast media, radiation safety, venipuncture, and MRI reconstruction. The assignment includes potential holiday work on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
