Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Plantation, Florida. This role involves working at a facility that performs diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans, MRI, and X-rays. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is suitable for those who are flexible, independent, and willing to work weekends and nights.
Job Details:
- Location: Plantation, FL
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, days only, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, valid state licensure, and no minimum years of experience required
- Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ACLS (preferred but not required), RT (T), ASRT, FASRT
- Additional Information: The role requires operating GE Discovery 450 equipment for CT scans, MRI, X-rays, and creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues. Critical thinking, flexibility, and ability to work independently are essential. Dress code includes Royal blue or white scrubs.
- Unit Information: The unit has 2 CT scanners, 2 tables, and operates 24 hours a day with 12-hour shifts. Staffing includes 2 Techs per shift, with a patient ratio of 1:1.
