Job Summary
CT Technologist, CT. This weekend assignment supports computed tomography services across adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations. The role requires advanced imaging, contrast administration, radiation safety, and trauma-related skills in a high-volume setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Weekend day shifts are scheduled Friday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., totaling 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registered radiologic technologist certification (ARRT R)
- Active Kansas radiology license
- Previous travel experience
- Experience with adult acute care, intensive care, emergency care, trauma imaging, isolation precautions, radiation safety, contrast preparation and administration, and charting in Epic
- Proficiency with Siemens and GE 64-slice scanners, Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), abdominal, pelvic, chest, vascular, carotid, head, sinus, soft-tissue neck, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging; brain perfusion; three-dimensional rendering; multiplanar reconstruction; region-of-interest measurements; and trauma imaging
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information:
- No call is required.
- Average daily census is approximately 60 patients.
- Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed.
- A flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted.
- Orientation includes 30 hours.
- Pre-start compliance activities and electronic medical record training must be completed by the stated deadlines.
