Job Summary:
CT Technologist position in a South Strand medical center area. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans and X-ray procedures within an emergency room setting. The technologist will utilize advanced imaging equipment and maintain compliance with hospital policies to deliver quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT), ARRT certification in Radiography, at least 3 years of experience, proficiency in CT and X-ray procedures, IV skills, CPR certification, BLS certification
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: This position requires multi-modality technologists to operate GE Rev EVO 64 slice CT, GE digital X-ray fixed and portable units. Documentation will be performed using Meditech/GE PACS systems. The role is ER-specific with emphasis on patient experience, including Press Ganey ER surveys.
