Job Summary
CT Technologist, CT, Mountain View, Missouri. This position performs computed tomography and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently in an outpatient and Emergency Department setting. The role includes preparing orders, completing examinations within the electronic medical record, transporting patients, and supporting coverage needs.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of computed tomography and X-ray experience
- Ability to perform computed tomography and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently at a technical level
- Ability to prepare orders, assume responsibility for designated procedures, and finalize examinations within the electronic medical record
- Additional Information:
- Schedule alternates between two weeks of daytime coverage, including shifts ranging from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- The patient population is primarily outpatient and Emergency Department patients, with limited inpatient volume.
- Patient transportation between the Emergency Department and Radiology is required.
- The position typically has no call requirement.
- The role requires self-direction and the ability to work independently for part of the shift.
- Black scrubs are required; T-shirts that do not comply with the facility’s dress code are not permitted.
