Job Summary
CT Technologist, CT. This role performs a variety of computed tomography scans with and without intravenous contrast for adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include intravenous access, diagnostic computed tomography care management, order triage, portable scanning, and rotation across outpatient, inpatient, and trauma services.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; every other weekend and possible holiday coverage required.
- Required Qualifications:
- Florida state license
- ARRT certification in Radiology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) only
- At least 2 years of CT experience
- Flu vaccination or willingness to obtain vaccination before the start date
- COVID-19 vaccination documentation or an approved medical or religious exemption
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to Siemens and Canon/Toshiba scanners
- Knowledge of Cerner and Philips PACS systems
- Additional Information:
- Performs CTA, neuro perfusion, trauma pan-scan, calcium scoring, enterography, gated studies, and other computed tomography examinations.
- Inserts intravenous lines and obtains laboratory results as part of diagnostic computed tomography care.
- Triages computed tomography orders and navigates patient-related information in a computerized system.
- Performs portable computed tomography scans.
- Rotates through outpatient, inpatient, and trauma computed tomography services.
- Provides care for adult and pediatric patient populations.
- Navy blue scrubs are required.
