Job Summary:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist position is located in a 60-bed acute-care facility in the Willamette Valley region. This role involves independently performing computed tomography (CT) and X-ray examinations across all patient populations, including emergency and inpatient settings, during night shifts. The selected candidate will work within a supportive team environment, utilizing advanced digital imaging equipment, and contributing to high-quality patient care during overnight hours.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/24/2026 and ending 12/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: Registry, licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), OBMI State License; 2+ years of experience in CT and X-ray exams; ability to perform both modalities independently; fluoroscopy and surgery C-Arm experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency department and trauma workflows; capable of supporting inpatient and emergency room exams
- Float: Shift covers both CT and X-Ray. Volume is manageable, with support available for high-volume situations and abnormal volumes; on-call support provided if necessary
- Additional Information: Position involves performing imaging procedures with GE digital equipment, supporting a wide patient demographic, and working alongside a night US technician. Tasks include some order preparation during slower times, and consistent communication with team members and providers is essential. Orientation provided weekly on Mondays.
