Job Summary:
A Pediatric Trauma Center in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a CT Technologist to join the healthcare team. This role involves operating Siemens computed tomography (CT) scanners and performing imaging procedures that require specialized skills in 3D rendering, contrast media administration, and trauma imaging. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credentials on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Lubbock, TX
  • Position: CT Technologist
  • Shift: 07/20/2026, 0700-1900 on Thursday through Sunday, and 0900-1900 on Monday through Wednesday
  • Schedule: 48 hours per week with a 12-hour shift schedule
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, with travel experience required
  • Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Computed Tomography (CT), ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT R), and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Licenses: Texas license (TX LIC); compact license must be in hand at submission
  • Skills: Proficiency in 3D rendering techniques (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), contrast media preparation and administration, trauma imaging, pediatric acute care, outpatient imaging, vascular imaging, and use of PACS systems
  • Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of Siemens CT scanner, pediatric acute care and trauma experience preferred
  • Multiple Units & Procedures: Abdomen, Chest, Head, Pelvis, Cervical, Sinuses, Vascular, and Musculoskeletal trauma imaging; understanding of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety
  • Travel Requirement: Yes, travel experience is mandatory
  • Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown
  • Holidays: Must be available to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
  • References: Two references covering at least one year (or six months for CNAs) within the past three years required prior to start
