Job Summary
CT Technologist – Radiology – Location: Prowers Medical Center. This position involves performing CT and X-Ray examinations, producing high-quality radiographs for diagnosis and treatment. The role requires independent judgment and technical skills to ensure optimal imaging results, with a focus on patient preparation and safety.
Job Details
- Education: Graduate with ARRT Registry
- Provides a variety of technical procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation
- Responsible for performing CT and X-Ray examinations, producing radiographs using proper technical factors, evaluating each film for proper exposure and positioning, scheduling exams, and instructing patients on preparations
- Reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Certification: ARRT Registry in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Position start date: 11/09/2026, end date: 02/08/2027
- Additional information: Must have the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and adapt to emergency situations. Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, lift and move patients, and maneuver equipment. Visual and hearing acuity required for patient feedback and safety.
