Job Details
- Position Description: Requisition: HWL Emerson Hospital-AN-0693. Work schedule includes 4x10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, during day/evening swing shifts with start times around 12 p.m. Call coverage required every 9th weekend and possible holidays. Utilizes Canon CT system.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine. Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Current BLS healthcare provider certification. Two or more years' experience as a CT Technologist preferred. Advanced ARRT CT registration strongly preferred.
- Schedule: Day/evening swing shifts, 10 hours per shift, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The technologist will secure diagnostic images, ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations, maintain patient care standards across all age groups, and support departmental initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing new imaging equipment, training staff and students, and participating in hospital and imaging committees. The role emphasizes professional interaction, documentation, and adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.
