Job Summary:
A Radiologic Technologist position is available in Clearlake, California. This role involves operating x-ray and computed tomography (CT) equipment in a healthcare facility located in a picturesque area known for outdoor activities and natural beauty. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position necessitates performing multiple imaging modalities and supporting the department's operational goals.
Job Details:
- Location: Clearlake, California
- Schedule: Nights, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM – 6:30 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in radiologic technology; Licenses and Certifications including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification in the state of practice, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R).
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, Master’s Degree, and certification in two additional advanced modalities such as Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography (S).
- Essential Functions: Operates radiographic and computed tomography equipment, performs two modalities competently, transports and transfers patients safely, tests defibrillator and crash cart, prepares contrast agents, and performs mobile imaging examinations as required.
