Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) imaging equipment to assist in diagnostic procedures. The position requires delivering high-quality imaging services to support patient care and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ARRT required, must apply for VT license at time of offer; Phillips experience is preferred; must be able to scan traumas independently; experience in a similar sized teaching facility; must be able to start peripheral intravenous (PIV) placements; EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
- Additional Requirements: Must work a minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs. Travelers are expected to work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
- Responsibilities: Operate CT equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, perform scans independently, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Submission Requirements: Complete employment history including facility details, EMR systems, bed counts, and facility type. Ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained.
- Additional Information: No block scheduling; bi-weekly orientation on Mondays. Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable transportation (personal or rental vehicle) is strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
