Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available in Brooklyn, NY. This role involves performing computed tomography (CT) procedures according to prescribed protocols to ensure quality imaging and patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Days shift, 37.5 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduates of Radiologic Technologist programs with licensure from the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography and CT, and BLS certification. At least 1 year of CT experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Performs CT procedures according to prescribed protocols, exercises appropriate judgment to assess and respond to patient needs, maintains accurate documentation and adheres to radiation safety guidelines following the ALARA principle. Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses and verifies receipt and activity level of radiopharmaceuticals prior to administration.
