Job Summary:
A CT Technologist position is available at a healthcare organization located in Alaska. This role involves providing computed tomography (CT) imaging services in a busy hospital setting. The position offers a 13-week assignment with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, starting on October 5, 2026, and concluding on January 4, 2027. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and invasive CT exams, adhering to hospital protocols and guidelines.
Job Details:
- Location: Main hospital, 2nd floor-Cat Scan Building, 2801 DeBarr Road, Anchorage, Alaska.
- Schedule: Days shift, Thur - Sat, 8:00 am - 8:30 pm, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT CT certification, current BLS certification, and ability to start IVs. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing a wide range of routine CT exams and invasive procedures.
- Additional Information:
- Unit has a bed capacity of 250 with 2-3 CT technologists per shift during the day.
- Equipment used includes GE 64 Slice CT scanners with EMR systems EPIC and MCKESSON PACS.
- On-call and weekend coverage may be required.
- Must meet Alaska State fingerprint and background requirements to clear their file.
- Dress code: Gray scrubs.
- Schedule includes rotating holidays.
