Job Summary
Certified Nurse Assistant position providing patient care in a long-term care setting. The role supports patients with dementia and requires flexibility to meet unit and patient-care needs, including weekend and holiday assignments.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 3 years of experience; prior travel experience; long-term care experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts are 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Assignment duration is 16–26 weeks. A minimum of every other weekend is required, and schedules may be adjusted to meet unit and patient-care needs. The role requires working 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. No block schedules are available. Candidates must be comfortable working with patients with dementia.
