Job Summary:
The city of Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist for the Cath Lab. This full-time position involves performing scrubbing and monitoring duties in a busy cardiac catheterization laboratory. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of work. The role starts as soon as possible and is expected to last for 13 weeks.
Job Details:
- Location: Tucson, AZ
- Schedule: Days, 4/10's shift from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Invasive Radiologic Technologist certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — RCIS certifications will not be accepted; must have cath lab experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Structural Heart experience and familiarity with Impella, IABP devices, and MacLab monitoring are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Responsibilities include scrub and monitor procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (e.g., CTO, L main, PFO), device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, and Peripheral interventions. Knowledge of product restocking and sterile technique is necessary.
- Additional Information: Use of sterile technique during procedures, flexible scrub colors (any solid color), and experience with Cerner electronic medical records are required.
