Job Summary:
A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) position is available in Sarasota, Florida. This role involves working within a high-paced Cardiac Cath lab environment, requiring candidates to bring their licensure on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology, contributing to critical cardiac procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, every other weekend, with holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, current licensure, and no minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Vascular/peripheral intervention experience, Impella, IABP, vents, or EP experience are considered advantageous.
- Additional Information:
- Location: Sarasota, Florida
- Facility features a Cardiac Cath lab with 2 beds and a staff of 10 including 1-2 RNs and 1-2 technicians per shift
- Typical procedures performed include LHC, RHC, PCI, shockwave, PPM, Impella, and IABP
- EMR: Meditech
- Candidates must have Cath lab experience; those with enhanced skills will be prioritized
