Job Summary:
The position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist in Sanford, Florida. This travel assignment requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a Cath/EP laboratory performing procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and Balloon Pump. Candidates will be responsible for circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring, with the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology.
Job Details:
- Location: Sanford, FL
- Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 10-hour days with schedule options of 4-10 or 5-8 hours days with late stays on call rotation
- Schedule: 10 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current State License in Florida; ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) Certification within 3 years of hire if not a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT; BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); no minimum years of experience specified
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, PCI, Impella, and Balloon Pump; experience in Level I trauma settings with Epic Cerner experience
- Additional Information: Candidate should be well-versed in cardiac cath procedures, cardiovascular equipment, and cath lab operations. They must adhere to hospital dress code policies. Experienced candidates with extensive travel history are preferred.
