Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) in a hospital setting. This position involves supporting and operating cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac caths, PCI, and devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced environment with on-call responsibilities and provides an excellent opportunity to work with advanced imaging and monitoring equipment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as RCIS, RCES, or ARRT; relevant training or coursework; located within 30 minutes of the facility; minimum 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab; no experience minimum assumed given the position.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EP Lab procedures, device placement, EP ablations, peripheral vascular intervention, and flexibility with scheduling including taking extra call.
- Additional Information: Involves supporting procedures such as right/left heart catheterizations, PCI, complex PCI, PFO occluders, Nitric Oxide studies, pacemaker/ICD implants, EP ablations, and Watchman implants. Must adhere to unit policies and dress code of royal blue scrubs provided by the facility. On-call duties include 1-2 nights per week and one weekend per month, with a 24-hour shift. Must be able to meet call requirements within 30 minutes of the facility to ensure timely response.
