Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in a scenic region known for its outdoor recreation and vibrant community. Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience; valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice; current Fluoroscopy license in CA within 6 months of hire; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of catheterization experience
- Essential Functions:
- Assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operates and maintains special procedure equipment, including C-Arm and angiographic injectors
- Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs during procedures
- Ensures radiation safety standards through proper shielding and immobilization techniques
- Maintains sterile techniques and adheres to infection control protocols
- Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on cardiovascular imaging equipment
- Supports the medical team during procedures involving catheterization and imaging
- Completes documentation for procedures and maintains equipment and supply stock
- Performs general office duties and disinfects equipment after each use
