Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist – Rowett, TX. This position involves providing specialized technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures, including arteriograms, catheterizations, and implantations. The technologist will assist physicians, handle equipment, and monitor patient safety throughout procedures in a fast-paced cath lab environment.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS (AHA Only), BLS (AHA Only), RCIS or ARRT (R) & TX MRT
- Education Requirements: Relevant technical or vocational training in cardiovascular or radiologic technology
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience in a cardiovascular or invasive lab setting
- Location Requirements: Not specified; candidates must be able to work in Rowett, TX
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Additional notes: Techs must handle IABP and IMPELLA procedures professionally. No neuro or structural heart cases involved.
- Responsibilities include assisting with invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, preparing sterile fields, monitoring ECG and vital signs, transporting patients, and maintaining documentation per regulatory standards.
- Additional operational duties include inventory management and ensuring safety and compliance with radiation regulations.
