Job Summary:
The job opportunity is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Phoenix, Arizona. The position involves working in a busy interventional cardiology and vascular laboratory environment, supporting various complex procedures such as TAVR, mitral clip, IABP, and Emtala placement. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Phoenix, Arizona
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Arizona license, ARRT certification for technologists, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Preferred Qualifications: LEVEL I trauma experience, experience with interventional, EP, and vascular cases, familiarity with Cerner and Xper EMR systems, and working with Phillips and Siemens equipment
- Additional Information:
- Unit has 3 main beds, including EP and Hybrid rooms
- Cases include interventional, electrophysiology, vascular, mitral clip, TAVR, IABP, and Emtala placement
- Must have ARRT certification if a technologist, or appropriate clinical credentials if a nurse
- BLS certification required
- Circulating and scrub roles for Rad Techs, with 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- On-the-job orientation of 2 days
- Shift includes call responsibilities for 8-12 days per month, with holiday work rotating
- Use Phillips and Siemens equipment
- Emergency preparedness with 30-minute response time
- No travel teams with Cath Lab RNs
