Job Summary
A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist located in the specified area is sought to support the organization’s cardiology procedural services. This role involves preparing and assisting with cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) — including STEMI cases — as well as other vascular and interventional radiology procedures. The position requires monitoring hemodynamic data, providing procedural support to physicians, and ensuring patient safety throughout.
Job Details
- Schedule: 4-day week, 9.5-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 1-2 weekend STEMI on-call shifts.
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Licensed Radiologic Technologist with RCIS (preferred), BLS, ACLS, and IABP experience. Cardiac Cath lab experience is essential. Education includes a High School Diploma or GED.
- Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring patients for procedures, assisting physicians during interventions, assessing access sites, and documenting data accurately.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, IABP.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting is preferred; at least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Additional information: The candidate must be ready to start as soon as possible, with all submittals available by September 21 or earlier.
