An experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist is needed in a Milwaukee, Wisconsin healthcare facility. This role involves supporting high-acuity, diagnostic, and interventional catheterization laboratory procedures in a fast-paced environment with a volume of 24-40 cases daily, primarily adult patients. - Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH)
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Experience: 3 years minimum required
- Certifications/Education: BLS, ACLS; WI License; NIHSS preferred
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/28/2026, ending 12/26/2026
- Responsibilities: Assist in diagnostic and interventional cath lab cases such as STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, biopsies, atherectomies, PCI, IABP, Impella, ECMO, and peripheral interventions; support hybrid procedures including TAVRs and Watchman; monitor and titrate conscious sedation and drips; scrub and pan cases; manage patient care in a high-volume, high-acuity setting with a 1:1 patient ratio.
- Support: Support staff will manage room turnover, supply rooms, and transport; charge nurses and leadership will oversee workflow.
- Equipment and Technologies: GE C-arms, Fuji and ProSolvo PACS, Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari, GE Pruka hemodynamic system, Alaris and Pyxis systems, Maquet IABP, and other advanced imaging and monitoring tools.
- Orientation: One-week orientation provided.
- On-call: 7 days of call every 2-3 months with a 30-minute response time; scheduled shift from 1200-2030.
- Additional Notes: Travelers may work occasional weekend or holiday shifts; adherence to fatigue policy limiting to 60 hours/week or no more than 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.
