Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Michigan City, Indiana. This position involves working in a specialized cath lab unit performing interventional procedures related to cardiology and vascular treatments. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Michigan City, Indiana
- Schedule: Four 8-hour or 9-hour shifts, with shifts typically scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 10 hours per shift.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting; familiarity with sedation and circulation competency.
- Preferred Qualifications: Recording competency on EMR systems.
- Additional Information: The role involves sedation and circulation tasks in a cardiology, vascular, and interventional radiology environment. The candidate should be self-motivated and a team player, with proper scrub attire (light blue surgical scrubs). On-call weekends are required, with 8 call shifts in a 4-week period.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
