Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position available in Miami, Florida. This role requires expertise in scrub procedures and cardiac catheterization processes, supporting a fast-paced cardiac cath lab unit. The technician will work day shifts, performing a variety of interventional procedures and supporting departmental operations.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days; Shift Hours: 10 hours; Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Certified as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or RCIS certification preferred), high school diploma or equivalent, valid BLS and ACLS certifications, no minimum experience required (1 year preferred), located in or willing to commute to Miami, FL.
- Typical Procedures Performed on Unit: Cardiac cath, cerebella angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab, scrubbing.
- Additional Information: The unit is a 4-room cardiac cath lab with a staff of 22 including registered nurses and technicians. Patient ratio is 1:1. The team operates with a director and manager, and an on-call team during night shifts managing STEMI calls. Equipment includes all GE rooms with documentation systems Meditech and MacLab. Call requirement includes a maximum of 15 days during critical periods. The dress code consists of surgical scrubs provided by the unit.
