Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist) position is located in an acute care setting with a focus on adult cardiovascular procedures. This role involves supporting complex diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-volume cardiac catheterization lab operating primarily during daytime hours. The purpose of this position is to deliver specialized technical assistance for a variety of advanced cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural success.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/14/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN), experience in Critical Care environments, Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) experience, independently titrating drips, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Rota, PCI, and other cardiac interventional equipment; strong procedural knowledge of left and right heart catheterizations, TAVR, TMVR, and other advanced cardiac procedures.
- Additional Information: The role entails working with a specialized cardiac team in a fast-paced environment involving adult patient populations. Self-scheduling for call is typical, with expected on-call coverage from 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM during weekdays, and weekend call coverage from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday. The unit utilizes Sunrise / Allscripts and Mac Lab electronic medical records systems.
