Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician position is located in Gallatin, Tennessee, within a 160-bed healthcare facility that is fully accredited and features Level III Trauma Center status. This role involves working in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, providing specialized support for cardiac procedures, monitoring cases, helping with patient workup and recovery, and assisting with department operations. The position offers a schedule of days with on-call responsibilities, suited for a professional with a proactive team-oriented approach.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days with on-call, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certification or licensure to work as a Cath Lab Tech in Tennessee; RCIS certification or Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree; at least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 0 years specified in the job order
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience transporting patients, assisting in workup and recovery, familiarity with common diagnoses such as caths, pacemakers, permacaths, ports, and vascular cases; outgoing personality and strong team skills
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), RT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS certification
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities on days scheduled
- Additional Information: May monitor cases, transport patients, assist in workup and recovery, stock department supplies, etc. No float rotation required.
