Job Summary:
This position is for a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Technologist located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The role involves supporting cardiovascular procedures in a busy Cath Lab unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); Cath Lab experience; specific skills in Structural Heart procedures, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella device, and procedures involving FFR and IFR.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PCI, PFO, TAVR, Atherectomy, R/LHC, and implants is advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required within the departments of Electrophysiology (EP) and Stress Lab.
- Additional Information: Self-scheduling is available for experienced staff, and the facility offers a modern working environment with advanced equipment such as GE Innova, Impella, MacLab, and Meditech documentation systems.
