Job Summary:
The location is in Festus, Missouri. This position is for a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, managing cath lab equipment, and providing high-quality care for adults with various medical observation diagnoses. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 5x8, hours from 0700 to 1530.
- Schedule: 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 1+ years Cath Lab experience, interventional cardiology experience, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, Missouri licensure, and 0-2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology.
- Additional Information: Clinical Decision Unit provides nurse-driven care for adults with various medical observations. The Cath Lab Tech assists with procedures including diagnostic and interventional studies, pacemaker and defibrillator implants, and peripheral procedures. Must be experienced with equipment such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), Impella devices, Penumbra systems, and Cardiovascular and Interventional Technology certifications. Call rotation includes approximately 10-15 days per month, with the ability to multitask effectively in high-stress situations.
