A Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position is available in a vibrant healthcare setting located in an urban environment. The role involves supporting the cardiovascular services team in performing diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures within a busy cath lab. Job Details:
- Schedule: Days; 8-hour shifts; minimum 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 10/19/2026
- End Date: 01/18/2027
- Required Qualifications: Certified Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist (RCIS) or Cardiovascular Nurse certification, Cath Lab experience, no minimum years of experience required, located within an accessible geographic area to the facility
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with various procedures including Cath, PCI, EP (Atrial Fibrillation), Watchman, TAVR, INARI, device management (PPM, ICD, Impella), familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system
- Unit Information: The cath lab comprises 3 operating rooms, with 2 EP-compatible, supporting a small team of 2 registered nurses and 2 cardiovascular technologists per case. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, emphasizing excellent patient outcomes.
- Call Requirements: Yes; on-call team covers emergent cases with on-call duties distributed evenly among staff. Some weekend emergent cases require on-call availability.
- Additional Information: The facility boasts the largest structural volume in the city, with a high volume of TAVR procedures (approximately 50 annually) and excellent patient outcomes, including very low PCI mortality rates.
