Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) for a position in Danbury, Connecticut. This role involves scrubbing in on interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on providing skilled assistance in various treatments and diagnostics within the catheterization lab environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) with a focus on Interventional Radiology, valid State of Connecticut Radiographer License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 3 years of experience in interventional radiology procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: CT (Computed Tomography) technician experience is preferred
- Additional Information: Call availability is provided but not mandatory; candidates should be able to scrub in on IR procedures effectively. Note that the position offers a rate increase for travel assignments.
