Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in a healthcare facility located in Danbury, CT. This role involves supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases, with the opportunity to work across electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/26/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: State of Connecticut Radiographer license in conjunction with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registry (R) and/or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI); minimum 3 years of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab) or Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab) experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred); proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy); supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing); experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions; expertise in radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.
  • Preferred Qualifications: If licensed as a radiologic technologist, familiarity with Siemens equipment and RCIS certification through CCI; proficient in scrubbing structural heart procedures, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, PFO/atrial septal defect (ASD) closure, and Watchman; skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies such as intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and 3D mapping systems, as well as support for mechanical circulatory support devices.
  • Additional Information: The ideal candidate will be a cross-trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced experience across multiple laboratories, able to support complex procedures and participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as departmental needs dictate.
