Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist position available in Danbury, CT. This role requires a highly skilled professional to support high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories. The ideal candidate will be proficient in supporting emergent and advanced interventional cases along with supporting mechanical circulatory support devices, demonstrating cross-training in multiple cardiovascular areas.

Job Details:

  • Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
  • Location: Danbury, CT
  • Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
  • Start Date: 09/28/2026
  • End Date: 12/26/2026
  • Required Qualifications: State of CT Radiographer license in conjunction with ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification through CCI; minimum of three years of cardiac catheterization laboratory or electrophysiology laboratory experience; BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: If licensed as a radiologic technologist, familiarity with Siemens systems; proficiency in scrubbing structural heart procedures including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman; skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), optical coherence tomography (OCT), and 3D mapping systems, along with experience supporting mechanical circulatory support devices.
  • Additional Information: Participation in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations may be required as needed by department. Candidates should be adept at supporting high-acuity, complex cardiovascular procedures, and possess cross-training in electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart procedures.
