Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Brownsville, Texas. This role involves assisting with interventional procedures in the cath lab, including heart caths, pacemakers, AICD, Watchman, and EP ablations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS); no minimum years of experience specified; must have IABP, Impella, interventional cath, and peripheral/coronary experience; location in Texas preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electrophysiology (EP), use of ultrasound, IVUS, FFR, stents, balloons, and other equipment listed; ability to work in IR, ICU if competency demonstrated, and pre/post recovery areas; ability to float as needed to IR, ICU, and pre/post PACU cath units
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, every other weekend on call, every other night during the week.
- Additional Information: The unit has 2 cath labs, with staff including 2 monitor techs, 2 RNs, and 2 techs. Types of equipment used include IABP, Impella, stents, balloons, IVUS, FFR, and ultrasound. Typical procedures include heart caths, interventions, pacemakers, AICD, Watchman, and EP ablations. The dress code is navy scrubs. The organization requires a 30-minute response time for callbacks.
